I am Trent Schwarz and together with my wife Virginia, we are the owners and operators of North Coast Chicken Supplies Pty Ltd based in Coffs Harbour. The business was originally established in 1977.

We purchased the business back in January 2017 after calling a day on my 28 year business banking management career with a major bank. Life as a bank employee means relocating often to different towns. In total we relocated our family 10 times with our final move to Coffs Harbour in 2010. We were determined to stay in this beautiful area to ensure our two boys had stability throughout their schooling years.

Purchasing a local business made sense given my banking experience managing small and medium size businesses. People say that it is a major change from banking but I feel it is very similar. The core principles are the same – buy and sell your product at a competitive price, build great relationships with your customers and suppliers and provide fantastic personalised customer service. We are proud to say that we have achieved all of these and more.
